This is quick SINGLE SERVE version of the original recipe I recently shared (that’s going viral!). It dates back to the Great Depression, when staple pantry ingredients were scarce and families had to get creative. To medium microwave safe dish, add: 4 tbsp flour 1 tbsp cocoa powder 2 tbsp sugar 1/4 tsp baking soda Pinch of salt 1/2 tbsp oil 3/4 tsp vinegar 1/4 cup water/ coffee (I added espresso as this helps the cocoa powder bloom!) Whisk the batter until it comes together with a smooth consistency. Pop it in the microwave for 1 minute until just set!
