These are my new favourite treat, and I’m pretty sure you’re going to love them too. Here’s how 👩‍🍳 For the base 🔹1/2 cup ground oats (oats blended to form a flour) 🔹1/4 cup peanut butter 🔹3 tbsp pure maple syrup Optional: pinch of salt For the caramel: 🔹 1/4 cup peanut butter 🔹 1/4 cup maple syrup Optional: 2 tbsp roasted peanuts 🔹150g chocolate, for topping with (if you also want to keep it refined sugar free I love using @rawhalo @nibblesimply @hukitchen) * if you don’t want to make your own caramel, @naturescharm sauce is amazing too! ▪️Add the ground oats, cashew butter, maple syrup and salt to a bowl and mix well, then roll the mixture into 6 small balls and flatten into patties. ▪️Place on a lined baking tray and bake at 180C for 15 minutes or until golden on top. Leave to cool. ▪️Make the caramel by mixing the cashew butter and maple syrup together until well combined. ▪️Spread a spoonful of caramel on each of bases, then melt the chocolate in a bowl over a saucepan with two inches of water in it on a low heat and spoon a generous tablespoon of chocolate into each twix cup. ▪️Place in the fridge until set, then dig in!
