If you were to ask me what my favorite kind of food is, first I’d say Italian food and second I’d likely say Korean food (though having to choose between Indian, Greek/Mediterranean, Spanish, etc., etc., is a really difficult choice!) Well this recipe video combines the best of both worlds between Italian and Korean and is a twist on a classic Korean street food. Join me in the kitchen as I show you how to make Gnocchi Tteokbokki. Tteokbokki itself is a rice cake but a common way it is served is with a spicy gochujang (chili paste) sauce. So I took the rice cake out and substituted it for Italian gnocchi but served it in the traditional Korean gochujang spicy sauce.
