These are scrumptious, you won't stop making nor eating them! Normally, this recipe doesn't have sweet potato in it. We decided to add it to give it a sweet touch, it’s spectacular! 👨🍳😘🤌
This is the recipe shown in the video:
205gr Tapioca starch
170gr Cooked sweet potato
160gr Grated Mozzarella cheese
30gr Grated Parmesan cheese
45 gr Vegetable oil
45 gr Milk
1 Whole egg
1 Teaspoon salt
1️⃣ In a saucepan, boil the oil and milk. As soon as it bubbles, remove from the heat.
2️⃣ In a bowl, put the tapioca starch and add the oil and boiling milk. Add the salt, egg and cooked sweet potato.
3️⃣ Mix until a homogeneous dough is obtained. Add the grated Parmesan cheese when the dough is lukewarm so that it does not burn. Mix again until well combined.
4️⃣ With oiled hand, take the dough and begin to stretch it on the palm of your hand. Place a cube of mozzarella cheese inside and close the bun.
5️⃣ Place on a baking sheet previously oiled or with kitchen paper.
6️⃣ Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C/356°F for 20 minutes.
The best thing about this preparation is that you can make it in larger quantities and freeze the buns for when you want pão de queijo. You simply take it out of the freezer and straight into the oven. 🔥
