CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE BARS 🍪 ....to die for AND made with wholesome ingredients!
Recipe
2 eggs
1 cup coconut sugar (or sub brown sugar)
¾ cup natural creamy peanut butter
¼ cup melted and cooled coconut oil
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup packed fine almond flour
½ cup rolled oats
½ teaspoon baking soda
¼ teaspoon salt
½ cup mix of semi sweet & dark chocolate chunks (more for the top, if desired)
Fancy Maldon Salt, for sprinkling on top
Combine the wet ingredients and mix until smooth. Add the dry, mix. Add chocolate chips, saving some for the top. In a greased or lined 8x8 pan, add the mixture and evenly smooth it out. Bake for 20-22 mins at 350°F just until the edges are golden! They will continue to bake slightly in the pan out of the oven, but this allows for the perfect fudgey and gooey consistency with crispy edges! ENJOY!
