🍯 Honey Garlic Chicken Bites
■ INGREDIENTS:
• 1 lb chicken breast, cut into small bites (450 g)
• 2 tbsp cornstarch (16 g)
• 1 tbsp olive oil
• salt & black pepper
Honey garlic sauce:
• 3 tbsp honey (60 g)
• 2 tbsp soy sauce
• 1 tbsp rice vinegar
• 1 tbsp water
• 3 garlic cloves, minced
• ½ tsp chili flakes (optional)
• 1 tsp sesame oil (optional, for aroma)
To finish:
• sesame seeds
• green onion
■ HOW TO COOK:
1. Cut chicken into small, even bites. Season with salt & pepper, then toss with cornstarch until lightly coated.
2. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high (375°F / 190°C). Add chicken in a single layer and cook 4–5 minutes, flipping occasionally, until golden and cooked through.
3. Lower the heat slightly. Add honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, water, garlic, and chili flakes. Stir and simmer 1–2 minutes until glossy.
4. Add chicken back (if removed) or toss directly in the sauce. Cook 1 more minute until everything is sticky and coated. Add sesame oil at the end if using.
5. Top with sesame seeds and green onion.
